Forest Street Community garden
Our Goal:

To provide an area for individuals and families to garden, and to build and nurture community friendships to share and enhance gardening skills. A communal garden is available to those who wish to garden but will not be renting a plot.

General Information:
The annual fee for each 20x20’ plot is $35.00 to be paid at the time of application (or $60 for two plots). If you or your children qualify for and/or receive FoodShare or free/reduced school lunch you can apply for the reduced rate of $20. Plots designed for special needs may also be available, if you have specific needs please state them on your application. Gardeners from previous years will have first opportunity to continue their garden spots the following year and their plot will be reserved for them as soon as payment for the following year is made. Contact the garden coordinator (contact information below) any time during the year to be added to the waiting list.

Donations:
Produce from the communal garden is donated to volunteers, the Community Table and to the Boys & Girls Club of the Greater Chippewa Valley. The Eau Claire Community Garden Association would like to encourage all plot holders to give some of their harvest to the hungry. Gardeners are encouraged to bring their produce directly to the Community Table (320 Putnam Street Eau Claire, WI 54703). Inquire to find out about open hours (715) 835-4977.
