Following the 2010 Census, the City’s aldermanic district boundaries were adjusted to bring them back into agreement with the idea of equal representation. The boundaries were modified so the population in each district would have as close to equal as practical. The redistricting also had to take neighborhoods and supervisory boundaries into consideration. Click here to see a full city map of the five aldermanic districts, followed by separate maps of each district. Anyone interested in running for City Council should contact the City Clerk’s office at 839 - 4912 for information on nomination papers and filing deadlines.
